Punchneedle Class

Saturday, March 8th, 2 - 3:30 at Mill Hollow in the Lorain MetroParks

We will be teaching the history and art of punchneedle embroidery.  The $10 charge covers the cost of materials to make a punchneedle pin.  We will have everything you need to complete the project.  Additional supplies will be available for purchase.  Please call the Park district office at 440-458-5121 to make a reservation.

Blackwork is here!

Blackwork uses backstitching to create designs.  We now have 2 designers who have blackwork patterns in the store.  Please contact us either through the website or by phone (440-963-0383) if you would like a lesson.

Free Punchneedle Lessons!

Punchneedle is an easy craft that uses a special needle, hoop, muslin fabric and embroidery floss.  The needle makes little loops to fill in color areas on the finished side of the project.  No counting!  "It's so easy and so quick to learn that I think I must be doing something wrong!", one customer commented.

We offer free lessons any time at River Bend Stitchery.  10 minutes is all it takes.
