Welcome to River Bend Stitchery, a cross stitch store and more in charming Vermilion, Ohio. In 2004, when owner Linda Tallitsch decided to open her specialty shop, she visualized a shop with not only the basic supplies needed by cross stitchers, but also different and unique designers and designer items. That is how our boutique concept was born. After 2 years River Bend Stitchery has outgrown the downtown Vermilion location! Our new location is at 15008 Holiday Drive, Suite C. It is south of downtown Vermilion and Rt.2. Exit Rt.2 at Rt.60 and go south. Immediately you will see the Vermilion Holiday Inn Express. Turn onto Holiday Drive (as if you are going to the Holiday Inn Express), and you will see a small office building just to the west of the inn. Vermilion is about 45 minutes west of Cleveland, Ohio and is a popular summer get-away for those who want to experience our “small town on a great lake.” Quaint shops, restaurants, and walks to the river and beach make a day in Vermilion one you will want to return to time after time. River Bend Stitchery has many boating, lighthouse and local interest charts and supplies. Oberlin Samplers grace the walls with beautiful models of their local lighthouse, landmark, and boating and sailing patterns. Exclusively designed charts for Vermilion are also available.
